Day/night cameras have a super sensitive imaging chip inside them. These cameras work well in low light without infrared lighting needed. Low light is not much available light, street lights or moon light for instance.

There are some kinds of surveillance security cameras:

* Bullet cameras are thin, packed together and nearly can be located anywhere. The lens in the camera cannot be exchanged. These kinds of cameras are immense for hidden surveillance.
